Narrative:

During approach to runway 12R at approximately 2000 ft MSL we received an RA on our TCASII with a target approximately 1 mi at our 12 O'clock position 400 ft below us. The first officer was flying and immediately disconnected the autoplt and commenced a climb. The target went 200 ft below us and we continued our approach to runway 12R and landed without incident. We asked the tower if they saw any traffic on the final behind us and they said they did not. We informed them of our RA and they said they would file a report.
