Narrative:
After deicing at msp, flew to mdw. While parked at gate, ramp personnel came to cockpit and said smoke coming from right wheel area. So went to check, first officer called fire trucks and I briefed flight attendant. Later, mechanic found deice fluid around APU area causing smoke. No damage.

Title: A B727 HAVING JUST PARKED AT THE RAMP WAS NOTED TO HAVE SMOKE COMING FROM THE R SIDE OF THE ACFT. CFR EQUIP WAS CALLED. ACFT HAD BEEN THROUGH A DEICING PROC AT PREVIOUS STATION. DEICING FLUID WAS FOUND NEAR THE APU PORT.
Narrative: AFTER DEICING AT MSP, FLEW TO MDW. WHILE PARKED AT GATE, RAMP PERSONNEL CAME TO COCKPIT AND SAID SMOKE COMING FROM R WHEEL AREA. SO WENT TO CHK, FO CALLED FIRE TRUCKS AND I BRIEFED FLT ATTENDANT. LATER, MECH FOUND DEICE FLUID AROUND APU AREA CAUSING SMOKE. NO DAMAGE.
