Narrative:
After entering a left downwind to land on runway 27, and immediately after referring to my before landing checklist, I was distraction by a passenger and ATC giving further TA's. This caused me to fail to put the gear lever in the down position. After which, I proceeded to land on the floats (wheels up). Other than my landing gear 'oversight,' the landing went surprisingly smooth and without further incident or injury.
