Narrative:
Smoke detectors sounded in all lavatories, lights flashing, alarms ringing. Light haze seen in mid-cabin, along with smell of burning material near 2L/2R. Entire situation lasted a few mins. Once engine shut down, smoke evaporated, alarms ended. Diverted to mco due to 1 engine overwater. Landed 1 hour later. No evacuate/evacuation necessary. Supplemental information from acn 393317: a passenger was coming out of the bathroom when it started going off. I started to check the bathroom for smoke or fire. Flight attendant #3 grabbed the demand mask and fire extinguisher. Flight attendant #4 called the captain. He informed us that they knew about what was going on. During this time smoke filled the cabin. He said everything was ok and no need for evacuate/evacuation.
