Narrative:
Sic received clearance from south bend departure, 30-45 mins prior to takeoff. Unknown to me when we taxied out for takeoff, he had advised south bend we would depart runway 9. When we received our release, winds favored runway 27 and we departed in VFR conditions. We were then advised by south bend we departed the wrong runway. Better CRM would have prevented this.

Title: FO OF A CPR 4 ENG EXECUTIVE TURBOJET DEPARTED AN UNCTLED ARPT ON AN IFR FLT PLAN ON RWY OTHER THAN ORIGINALLY SPECIFIED IN HIS FLT PLAN DUE TO A CHANGE IN SURFACE WIND DIRECTION. IT RESULTED IN A DEP INITIAL CLB IN UNPROTECTED AIRSPACE.
Narrative: SIC RECEIVED CLRNC FROM SOUTH BEND DEP, 30-45 MINS PRIOR TO TKOF. UNKNOWN TO ME WHEN WE TAXIED OUT FOR TKOF, HE HAD ADVISED SOUTH BEND WE WOULD DEPART RWY 9. WHEN WE RECEIVED OUR RELEASE, WINDS FAVORED RWY 27 AND WE DEPARTED IN VFR CONDITIONS. WE WERE THEN ADVISED BY SOUTH BEND WE DEPARTED THE WRONG RWY. BETTER CRM WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS.
