Narrative:

ATC had just issued a clearance to cross 35 NM southwest of east texas VOR at 11000 ft MSL and had advised of severe turbulence in the area. The cabin was advised immediately, but the flight attendants had not finished securing the cabin and were still up and about. The 2 flight attendants in the aft cabin were slightly injured requiring an emergency room visit. They were given a clean bill of health and released to the hotel a few hours later.

Title: B737-200 ACFT IN DSCNT WAS ALERTED BY ARTCC CTLR OF SEVERE TURB AHEAD. FLC NOTIFIED CABIN, BUT FLT ATTENDANTS WERE STILL UP SECURING THE CABIN. 2 FLT ATTENDANTS REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTN UPON LNDG.

Narrative: ATC HAD JUST ISSUED A CLRNC TO CROSS 35 NM SW OF EAST TEXAS VOR AT 11000 FT MSL AND HAD ADVISED OF SEVERE TURB IN THE AREA. THE CABIN WAS ADVISED IMMEDIATELY, BUT THE FLT ATTENDANTS HAD NOT FINISHED SECURING THE CABIN AND WERE STILL UP AND ABOUT. THE 2 FLT ATTENDANTS IN THE AFT CABIN WERE SLIGHTLY INJURED REQUIRING AN EMER ROOM VISIT. THEY WERE GIVEN A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH AND RELEASED TO THE HOTEL A FEW HRS LATER.
