Narrative:

An automated information xfer is used between the macon high sector and the clark hill ultra high sector on atl departures. Where the macon sector hands off departure aircraft off of atl to the clark hill sector, clark hill enters the altitude they can approve and hands the aircraft off to ZJX. In this instance and others, the clark hill sector took the handoff on air carrier X and initiated a handoff to ZJX with FL370 in the data block. I was working macon and climbed air carrier X to FL370. A few mins later, I noticed an interim altitude of FL330 in air carrier X data block. No coordination was ever made by the clark hill sector.

Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR INCORRECTLY APPLYING AUTOMATED INFO XFER PROC, CAUSING THE INITIAL XFERRING CTLR TO ISSUE LAST SECOND ALT CHANGE TO CLBING DEP, OR HAVING TO RECOORD ANOTHER INTERIM ALT DUE TO LATE ALT ASSIGNMENT BY THE XFERRING CTLR TO ZJX.

Narrative: AN AUTOMATED INFO XFER IS USED BTWN THE MACON HIGH SECTOR AND THE CLARK HILL ULTRA HIGH SECTOR ON ATL DEPS. WHERE THE MACON SECTOR HANDS OFF DEP ACFT OFF OF ATL TO THE CLARK HILL SECTOR, CLARK HILL ENTERS THE ALT THEY CAN APPROVE AND HANDS THE ACFT OFF TO ZJX. IN THIS INSTANCE AND OTHERS, THE CLARK HILL SECTOR TOOK THE HDOF ON ACR X AND INITIATED A HDOF TO ZJX WITH FL370 IN THE DATA BLOCK. I WAS WORKING MACON AND CLBED ACR X TO FL370. A FEW MINS LATER, I NOTICED AN INTERIM ALT OF FL330 IN ACR X DATA BLOCK. NO COORD WAS EVER MADE BY THE CLARK HILL SECTOR.
