Narrative:
After completing my walkaround. We took the runway for takeoff. As power was applied, I looked out my window and saw my fuel cap move up. I called for the abort and we returned to the gate. I personally checked the fuel cap and found the fueler just left it sitting in the fuel port. It was flushed to the point you could not see it was not in properly. We then departed without incident. Note: most of our fuel caps on our fleet are painted red. This one on this day was white, the same color of the top of the wing. When this is the case it is difficult to see if they are in properly.
