Narrative:
The developmental I was training climbed an aircraft with lead on traffic. When questioned about the clearance and instruction issued to maintain previous altitude, the aircraft had already climbed 300 ft.

Title: ARTCC RADAR INSTRUCTOR CTLR REACTS TOO LATE TO DEVELOPMENTAL CTLR ACTIONS TO STOP LOSS OF VERT SEPARATION WITH OVERHEAD TFC.
Narrative: THE DEVELOPMENTAL I WAS TRAINING CLBED AN ACFT WITH LEAD ON TFC. WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT THE CLRNC AND INSTRUCTION ISSUED TO MAINTAIN PREVIOUS ALT, THE ACFT HAD ALREADY CLBED 300 FT.
