Narrative:

After a local reorganization effort, supervisors took 2 position and without any change in workload combined them. Previously, my specialty had 2 printers supplying strips for 3 position each. After the reorganization (called 7TH area locally) the same 6 sectors are supplied strips by just 1 printer. Controllers continually get behind. Active strips are late to the sectors and the worst case is revisions. Route changes can be made up to 5 mins before crossing the boundary. In many cases, the controller is already talking to the aircraft and making decisions based on old information. This is very dangerous. A d-side on the adm hi sector told me while I was working the a-side today that his strips were late. He was accurate in his assessment.
