On apr/xa/98 I installed bolt, nut, and cotter pin on fuel shutoff control cable, and job was inspected and stamped by inspector. Supplemental information from acn 398720: date apr/xa/98. Aircraft's #1 engine was ready for run-up.

Title: A DC9 SUFFERS A FLT DELAY WHEN THE ACFT'S FUEL SHUTOFF CABLE FAILS TO OPERATE THE FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE. IT HAD BEEN SECURED, INSPECTED AND SIGNED OFF 5 DAYS PREVIOUS TO THE DELAY.
