Narrative:
Unsafe nose gear light illuminated in-flight. Diverted to atl for maintenance. Unsafe nose gear down indication when gear was lowered. Ran checklist, got '3 green.' declared precautionary emergency and landed without incident. Suspect it was a sensor problem.

Title: A DC9-50 IN CRUISE AT FL330 DECLARED AN EMER AND DIVERTED DUE TO A NOSE LNDG GEAR UNSAFE WARNING LIGHT POSSIBLY CAUSED BY A FAILED SENSOR.
