Narrative:
I observed a piper archer pass under me at approximately 100-200 ft. I first observed the archer at my 2 O'clock position and he appeared to be descending. The distance where I first saw the archer was approximately 1/4 mi. My cruise altitude was 3000 ft MSL (1500 ft AGL), heading 300 degrees, IAS 120 mph. My location was approximately 5 NM northwest of cgz airport, az. The archer may have been in my blind spot prior to my seeing him. I was flying a piper cherokee.
