Narrative:

While in sav, GA, on an aerial survey mission, I may have penetrated the class C airspace without permission. Although I was not talking to sav approach, I was squawking an assigned code given to me by sav approach and monitoring their frequency while talking to hunter aaf. Before beginning the mission, my laser operator/navigator, who is also a pilot, assured me that our northernmost flight line would be outside sav 5 NM ring. To keep this from happening again, I will make all navigation measurements myself.

Narrative: WHILE IN SAV, GA, ON AN AERIAL SURVEY MISSION, I MAY HAVE PENETRATED THE CLASS C AIRSPACE WITHOUT PERMISSION. ALTHOUGH I WAS NOT TALKING TO SAV APCH, I WAS SQUAWKING AN ASSIGNED CODE GIVEN TO ME BY SAV APCH AND MONITORING THEIR FREQ WHILE TALKING TO HUNTER AAF. BEFORE BEGINNING THE MISSION, MY LASER OPERATOR/NAVIGATOR, WHO IS ALSO A PLT, ASSURED ME THAT OUR NORTHERNMOST FLT LINE WOULD BE OUTSIDE SAV 5 NM RING. TO KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN, I WILL MAKE ALL NAV MEASUREMENTS MYSELF.
