Narrative:
After takeoff, the landing gear would not retract. We ran the appropriate checklists and were provided with little or no information to correct our situation. Subsequently, we contacted our company's maintenance controller and the flight dispatcher to inform them of our situation and seek more information about our condition. We were informed that the situation was 'not a problem' and were directed to continue the flight to cvg by the flight dispatcher. The flight landed in cvg at approximately XA23 safely and uneventfully.
