Narrative:
Per request, I am submitting my technique for confirming that I have landing clearance on the S80. I wait to put on the nose light until I have landing clearance. Then if it is not on prior to touchdown, I question tower. And if it is on, I am reassured that I have clearance. Typically, landing clearance coincides with gear which houses the nose light. Works for me -- so far.
