Narrative:
During my scan for traffic, I saw a high wing cessna on a collision course but at a slightly lower altitude, only 1/4 mi away. I did not have time to take evasive action, but the cessna passed about 200-300 ft directly below me. No collision occurred, and no passing turbulence was felt. Both aircraft continued on their respective courses. I had not seen the cessna (or any plane) in previous scans.
