Narrative:
Location: bjx VOR overhead NAVAID descending to 11000 ft from 14000 ft. Turned into the holding pattern to lose altitude and to course realign. Once at 11000 ft and heading inbound to the VOR, we received a TCASII alert followed by descend message. We descended and commenced the VOR DME 13 approach without further incident. The tower had also cleared an air carrier Y for the same approach at the same altitude right behind us.
