Narrative:
About 15 mins after departure, a call light went off. I went to see what the problem was. 2 seat backs were broken, not just the reclining action, but the actual metal bar that holds the seat up and together. I notified the cockpit. The first officer came back to look at the situation. We had minimal tools and tried to fix the seats, however, the metal support was completely broken. It was a full flight so we had no other seats to offer these passenger. The captain decided to land in tul. The passenger whose seats were broken, sat in flight attendant #3's and flight attendant #5's jump seat, and I, being the extra flight attendant #3, sat in cockpit jump seat for landing in tul. Once in tul the seats were fixed and the aircraft was looked over, we continued on to lax.
