Narrative:
Departed lgb, runway 25R for r-hand closed traffic to demonstrate landing technique to a student having difficulty landing this aircraft, during previous lesson (check out). I was distracted observing traffic at normal gear let-down point and missed on checklist. Landed gear up on runway 25R. Contributing factors were distraction at critical time, gear warning horn did not sound, possible lack of adequate sleep, fly numerous aircraft types, and student missed gear verify as well. Normally double check for 3 green on short final, did not do.
