Narrative:

We were cleared for takeoff on runway 36R with a turn to 345 degrees after takeoff. First officer was making the takeoff. At lift-off I noticed a commuter rotating with us off runway 36L. We were slightly above and accelerating past the other aircraft. The first officer started the turn at 500 ft, but the commuter was not yet turning. I told the first officer to turn back to runway heading. We then went IMC. Very soon we got a TA and then an RA with the comments to monitor vertical speed. We then switched to departure control on 125.12. I informed them of what happened and requested a heading and was given a heading of 350 degrees. We then proceeded on course without further incident.
