Narrative:

Upon arrival at aircraft, log was handed to us by maintenance. Said he had completed sign-off of open items. Crew checked log per last captain's signature and departed. Later found additional open items under cardboard insert. Rather than signing after last item, per part one, previous captain instead signed the bottom of each page and the last 2 pages were left under the cardboard insert. None of the crew members or maintenance had noticed the additional discrepancies beyond the previous captain's initial signature. Upon arrival at ord, all items were cleared.
