After departure it was discovered that our flight release required by far part 121 was not on board. Ground personnel apparently removed it when they took their paperwork.

Narrative: AFTER DEP IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT OUR FLT RELEASE REQUIRED BY FAR PART 121 WAS NOT ON BOARD. GND PERSONNEL APPARENTLY REMOVED IT WHEN THEY TOOK THEIR PAPERWORK.
