Narrative:

On taxi out, we departed the north side of the ramp, but found out we needed the longest runway for weight. From taxiway east we were told to turn south on taxiway dixie for runway 27R. Our 10- 9 chart shows dixie as the next right turn eastbound on taxiway east after taxiway C, but airport signage indicates both taxiway dixie and taxiway G as taxiway dixie sbound. This was confusing and elicited a terse response from atl ground controller that we had missed our turn. We told controller of sign problem and he said he'd have the airport check it out.
