Narrative:
We received clearance to cross holey intersection at 11000 ft. This was entered into the FMC and crosschecked with the EFIS display which showed both altitude and descent point. About 9 mi from holey with the aircraft on autoplt and in a descent we realized the aircraft, although descending, was not following its computed profile. The aircraft was then hand flown down to the altitude restr, using level change, manual idle thrust and speed brakes. ATC was advised that we would be late on the crossing restr and we reached 11000 ft about 5 mi to the north of holey. We could have avoided this by more closely monitoring the aircraft during its descent in order to pick up its profile deviation sooner, allowing us to step in sooner. There were no known conflicts.

Title: A DSNDING FK100 FLC DOES NOT CROSS THEIR ASSIGNED POINT AT THE REQUESTED ALT. THEIR FMS WAS OFF ON ITS PROFILE. CREW REALIZED THIS TOO LATE.
Narrative: WE RECEIVED CLRNC TO CROSS HOLEY INTXN AT 11000 FT. THIS WAS ENTERED INTO THE FMC AND XCHKED WITH THE EFIS DISPLAY WHICH SHOWED BOTH ALT AND DSCNT POINT. ABOUT 9 MI FROM HOLEY WITH THE ACFT ON AUTOPLT AND IN A DSCNT WE REALIZED THE ACFT, ALTHOUGH DSNDING, WAS NOT FOLLOWING ITS COMPUTED PROFILE. THE ACFT WAS THEN HAND FLOWN DOWN TO THE ALT RESTR, USING LEVEL CHANGE, MANUAL IDLE THRUST AND SPD BRAKES. ATC WAS ADVISED THAT WE WOULD BE LATE ON THE XING RESTR AND WE REACHED 11000 FT ABOUT 5 MI TO THE N OF HOLEY. WE COULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS BY MORE CLOSELY MONITORING THE ACFT DURING ITS DSCNT IN ORDER TO PICK UP ITS PROFILE DEV SOONER, ALLOWING US TO STEP IN SOONER. THERE WERE NO KNOWN CONFLICTS.
