Narrative:

Taxiing to runway 12R at sat wbound on the ramp when ground told us to turn right at the next available taxiway because the taxiway we were about to enter was not stressed for our aircraft. I then realized that I was about to taxi onto taxiway H. I turned right on H1 onto taxiway G and continued to runway 12R via taxiway G. Although I never actually taxied onto taxiway H which is restr, I did have to turn onto H1 onto taxiway G. H1 is also restr according to the airport chart. Nothing more was said and there were no problems. I suggest that crews review restr txwys even at familiar airports.

Title: CAPT OF A FOKKER 100, FK10, MISTAKENLY TAXIED ON A WT RESTR TXWY RESULTING IN TWR GND CTL INTERVENING TO WARN RPTR ABOUT THE RESTR. RPTR IMMEDIATELY USED A TIE-IN TO GO TO A PARALLEL UNRESTR TXWY.

Narrative: TAXIING TO RWY 12R AT SAT WBOUND ON THE RAMP WHEN GND TOLD US TO TURN R AT THE NEXT AVAILABLE TXWY BECAUSE THE TXWY WE WERE ABOUT TO ENTER WAS NOT STRESSED FOR OUR ACFT. I THEN REALIZED THAT I WAS ABOUT TO TAXI ONTO TXWY H. I TURNED R ON H1 ONTO TXWY G AND CONTINUED TO RWY 12R VIA TXWY G. ALTHOUGH I NEVER ACTUALLY TAXIED ONTO TXWY H WHICH IS RESTR, I DID HAVE TO TURN ONTO H1 ONTO TXWY G. H1 IS ALSO RESTR ACCORDING TO THE ARPT CHART. NOTHING MORE WAS SAID AND THERE WERE NO PROBS. I SUGGEST THAT CREWS REVIEW RESTR TXWYS EVEN AT FAMILIAR ARPTS.
