Narrative:
On climb out flight attendant called cockpit on interphone and reported smoke in the aft cabin. The flight attendant then reported the smoke alarm activated. Shortly thereafter, the first flight attendant reported smoke in the aft cabin and both aft smoke alarms activated. Declared emergency and requested immediate return. On descent smoke cleared. Emergency canceled and normal landing.

Title: MD80. CABIN ATTENDANT INFORMED THE CREW THEY HAD SOME SMOKE IN THE AFT CABIN. SMOKE SET OFF BOTH ALARMS IN THE REAR TOILETS.
Narrative: ON CLBOUT FLT ATTENDANT CALLED COCKPIT ON INTERPHONE AND RPTED SMOKE IN THE AFT CABIN. THE FLT ATTENDANT THEN RPTED THE SMOKE ALARM ACTIVATED. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, THE FIRST FLT ATTENDANT RPTED SMOKE IN THE AFT CABIN AND BOTH AFT SMOKE ALARMS ACTIVATED. DECLARED EMER AND REQUESTED IMMEDIATE RETURN. ON DSCNT SMOKE CLRED. EMER CANCELED AND NORMAL LNDG.
