Narrative:
While preparing for normal pre-departure for flight XXXX the aircraft was grounded by maintenance for a previous write-up. Shortly thereafter the aircraft moved backward jamming the loading bridge and the forward entry door. The aircraft brakes were set and the aircraft attached to the tug. It was later found that the chocks had been removed by ramp personnel. Apparently the brakes on the tug were not adequate to prevent the aircraft from moving backwards.

Narrative: WHILE PREPARING FOR NORMAL PRE-DEP FOR FLT XXXX THE ACFT WAS GNDED BY MAINT FOR A PREVIOUS WRITE-UP. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE ACFT MOVED BACKWARD JAMMING THE LOADING BRIDGE AND THE FORWARD ENTRY DOOR. THE ACFT BRAKES WERE SET AND THE ACFT ATTACHED TO THE TUG. IT WAS LATER FOUND THAT THE CHOCKS HAD BEEN REMOVED BY RAMP PERSONNEL. APPARENTLY THE BRAKES ON THE TUG WERE NOT ADEQUATE TO PREVENT THE ACFT FROM MOVING BACKWARDS.
