Narrative:
Possibility of incorrect type floorboard material installed in specific area of aircraft. Board of investigation held on jul/xy/98, notifying me of incident. Questions arose pertaining to authority/authorized to manufacture floorboards. First 2 aircraft made per authority/authorized of approved materials manual. 3RD aircraft is when dock disagreed concerning type of material. Engineering department was contacted. After discussion, engineering department agreed to use material which dock requested. Material which dock requested was fokker type material.

Title: 2 FOKKER 100 ACFT WERE RELEASED FOR SVC AFTER HVY MAINT WITH THE INCORRECT MATERIAL USED IN THE CABIN FLOORBOARDS.
Narrative: POSSIBILITY OF INCORRECT TYPE FLOORBOARD MATERIAL INSTALLED IN SPECIFIC AREA OF ACFT. BOARD OF INVESTIGATION HELD ON JUL/XY/98, NOTIFYING ME OF INCIDENT. QUESTIONS AROSE PERTAINING TO AUTH TO MANUFACTURE FLOORBOARDS. FIRST 2 ACFT MADE PER AUTH OF APPROVED MATERIALS MANUAL. 3RD ACFT IS WHEN DOCK DISAGREED CONCERNING TYPE OF MATERIAL. ENGINEERING DEPT WAS CONTACTED. AFTER DISCUSSION, ENGINEERING DEPT AGREED TO USE MATERIAL WHICH DOCK REQUESTED. MATERIAL WHICH DOCK REQUESTED WAS FOKKER TYPE MATERIAL.
