Narrative:
Passenger boarded with aggressive 'attitude' but no sign of inebriation. During cocktail service, he requested 2 whiskeys, which I thought I had served him. When I came to pick up his empty glass, he told me that I had never served him his whiskeys. So I gave him 2 more. He was rude and continued the aggressive attitude. I remained calm with him and mentioned 'tranquillo, tranquillo' and tried to get him to relax. During meal service I served him 2 more dewar's black label and for tray pick up, 2 more. Already knowing the initial exchange with him, I told flight attendant #2 that he was a good candidate to be cut off. After meal service I explained to him that he would need to be cut off. It was just as well as he had become more loud and more hostile. Then my break started and I am not aware of further details until my break ended, at which time the flight attendants informed me that we were landing in nova scotia to offload this passenger, and we could not inform any passenger of the landing until the auths were on board due to his belligerence. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter noticed his attitude when she tried to speak spanish to greet him, he rudely corrected her to speak english to him. She tried to disarm him verbally with being congenial but it didn't work. She contemplated at this time to have him removed due to his unrelenting bad comments and attitude but decided not to. Apparently, while on her break, this passenger had become more hostile, making comments like threatening to kill the crew, take the plane elsewhere and overpwr the cockpit. The PIC came to speak to the passenger twice with no success. The passenger tried to get into the cockpit after which the passenger went to his seat and fell asleep due to the alcohol. The PIC at this point decided to land and not inform the cabin so as not to antagonize the belligerent passenger. The auths in nova scotia took the passenger into custody after questioning him. He displayed the same behavior and threats and was detained. The flight continued on to the final destination.

Title: AT CRUISE ON BOARD B767, BELLIGERENT PAX THREATENED CREW AND ACFT, PIC DIVERTED TO ALTERNATE TO OFFLOAD PAX. FLT CONTINUED ON TO DEST WITHOUT INCIDENT.
Narrative: PAX BOARDED WITH AGGRESSIVE 'ATTITUDE' BUT NO SIGN OF INEBRIATION. DURING COCKTAIL SVC, HE REQUESTED 2 WHISKEYS, WHICH I THOUGHT I HAD SERVED HIM. DURING MEAL SVC I SERVED HIM 2 MORE DEWAR'S BLACK LABEL AND FOR TRAY PICK UP, 2 MORE. ALREADY KNOWING THE INITIAL EXCHANGE WITH HIM, I TOLD FLT ATTENDANT #2 THAT HE WAS A GOOD CANDIDATE TO BE CUT OFF. AFTER MEAL SVC I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT HE WOULD NEED TO BE CUT OFF. IT WAS JUST AS WELL AS HE HAD BECOME MORE LOUD AND MORE HOSTILE. THEN MY BREAK STARTED AND I AM NOT AWARE OF FURTHER DETAILS UNTIL MY BREAK ENDED, AT WHICH TIME THE FLT ATTENDANTS INFORMED ME THAT WE WERE LNDG IN NOVA SCOTIA TO OFFLOAD THIS PAX, AND WE COULD NOT INFORM ANY PAX OF THE LNDG UNTIL THE AUTHS WERE ON BOARD DUE TO HIS BELLIGERENCE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR NOTICED HIS ATTITUDE WHEN SHE TRIED TO SPEAK SPANISH TO GREET HIM, HE RUDELY CORRECTED HER TO SPEAK ENGLISH TO HIM. SHE TRIED TO DISARM HIM VERBALLY WITH BEING CONGENIAL BUT IT DIDN'T WORK. SHE CONTEMPLATED AT THIS TIME TO HAVE HIM REMOVED DUE TO HIS UNRELENTING BAD COMMENTS AND ATTITUDE BUT DECIDED NOT TO. APPARENTLY, WHILE ON HER BREAK, THIS PAX HAD BECOME MORE HOSTILE, MAKING COMMENTS LIKE THREATENING TO KILL THE CREW, TAKE THE PLANE ELSEWHERE AND OVERPWR THE COCKPIT. THE PIC CAME TO SPEAK TO THE PAX TWICE WITH NO SUCCESS. THE PAX TRIED TO GET INTO THE COCKPIT AFTER WHICH THE PAX WENT TO HIS SEAT AND FELL ASLEEP DUE TO THE ALCOHOL. THE PIC AT THIS POINT DECIDED TO LAND AND NOT INFORM THE CABIN SO AS NOT TO ANTAGONIZE THE BELLIGERENT PAX. THE AUTHS IN NOVA SCOTIA TOOK THE PAX INTO CUSTODY AFTER QUESTIONING HIM. HE DISPLAYED THE SAME BEHAVIOR AND THREATS AND WAS DETAINED. THE FLT CONTINUED ON TO THE FINAL DEST.
