Narrative:

We had just leveled at 8000 ft on the moxee 3 arrival to pdx when approach cleared us to climb to 8500 ft. At about the same time we received this clearance we got a TCASII RA to descend. We followed the TCASII RA to about 7200 ft where we received a clear of conflict and started a climb back to our last assigned altitude of 8500 ft. We advised ATC of the TCASII RA when it occurred and received another clearance shortly thereafter to descend pilot's discretion to 5000 ft. The TCASII RA was caused by a GA bonanza at 8000 ft at about our 3 O'clock position.
