Narrative:
At XA15 this morning (aug/xy/98) I was shown a copy of an engineering change order that I signed on sep/xx/90. It (engineering order yzy) modified door 3 slide per a manufacturers service bulletin (001-25-8) and incorporated alert service bulletin. Engineer xyzb showed me where the door cover (decorative cover) was to be modified, but it wasn't covered in my engineering change order. The cover stays with the aircraft, and the engineering change order just removed unmodified slide, sent it to the manufacturer, and installed new modified slide. An FAA airworthiness directive was not yet received when I wrote this engineering change order. The airworthiness directive was issued when I was in a new engineering position.

Narrative: AT XA15 THIS MORNING (AUG/XY/98) I WAS SHOWN A COPY OF AN ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER THAT I SIGNED ON SEP/XX/90. IT (ENGINEERING ORDER YZY) MODIFIED DOOR 3 SLIDE PER A MANUFACTURERS SVC BULLETIN (001-25-8) AND INCORPORATED ALERT SVC BULLETIN.
