Narrative:
Aircraft had previous write-up that radar did not show return of ground or build-ups. Antenna replaced in atl because of dispatch requirement. On climb out discovered radar had some discrepancy. Got clearance to continue to phl from dispatch.

Title: A B727 PIC RPT ON AN INOP ACFT RADAR DURING CLBOUT FROM ATL. PIC OBTAINS A REVISED DISPATCH RELEASE FOR THE INOP EQUIP.
Narrative: ACFT HAD PREVIOUS WRITE-UP THAT RADAR DID NOT SHOW RETURN OF GND OR BUILD-UPS. ANTENNA REPLACED IN ATL BECAUSE OF DISPATCH REQUIREMENT. ON CLBOUT DISCOVERED RADAR HAD SOME DISCREPANCY. GOT CLRNC TO CONTINUE TO PHL FROM DISPATCH.
