Narrative:

During climb out from mke at 15 mi southwest of airport at 4500 ft in a climb to 5000 ft, a near miss occurred with my airplane A36 bonanza and a glider. Copilot spotted glider at our 1:30 high position. Glider seemed very close to the overcast at about 5000 ft. We advised mke departure control with a reply saying he had no traffic but a glider airport was close by.
