Narrative:
On climb out of lfpg (charles-de-gaulle) on the boulogne 8A SID, at 14000 ft MSL and 325 KIAS we had a bird strike in the middle of the first officer's forward windshield. After the strike we check the engine instruments (all normal) and disengaged the autoplt to find the airplane flew normal. We continued on to dtw. After landing we had (estimate) 7-8 bird strikes. The radome was cracked with numerous dents to the nose and aircraft left side of aircraft by the front door (door left). Also a hole in horizontal stabilizer, aircraft left. Aircraft flew normal, but we were 2000 pounds over burn for the flight. Engine performance and response were normal.

Title: FLC OF A DC10-40 EXPERIENCED A BIRD STRIKE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FO'S WINDSHIELD AT 14000 FT DURING DEP CLB AT 325 KTS AIRSPD. EVEN THOUGH THE LARGE BIRDS DID NOT CRACK THE WINDSHIELD, IT WAS DISCOVERED AFTER LNDG TO HAVE CRACKED THE RADOME AND PUT DENTS IN THE NOSE SECTION AND A HOLE IN THE L HORIZ STABILIZER AND CAUSED 2000 MORE LBS OF FUEL BURN.
