Narrative:
Bzn gallatin airport, mt, is a CTAF controled airport. We announced our taxi and were told by CTAF gallatin unicom that runway 30 was the active runway. Our taxi route took us across a seldom used 90 degree intersecting runway (runway 3/21). The first officer had his head inside the cockpit receiving ATC clearance from ZLC. I visually cleared runway 3/21 xcockpit and did not see low profile departing towplane and glider until they were airborne and too late to stop our aircraft. I continued across runway 3/21. The glider released and landed safely. The towplane continued climb out and safely recovered on runway 21. Did not hear CTAF reporting runway 3/21 active. Did not hear towplane announce intentions (perhaps ATC clearance came over other radio at that time). Should have first officer clear runway also. Could not detect small, low profile aircraft approaching nearly head-on until I saw 'blue sky' behind them.

Title: AN LGT TAXIES FOR TKOF AT UNCTLED ARPT, BZN, AND FAILS TO SEE A DEPARTING SMA TOWING A GLIDER ON A XING RWY.
Narrative: BZN GALLATIN ARPT, MT, IS A CTAF CTLED ARPT. WE ANNOUNCED OUR TAXI AND WERE TOLD BY CTAF GALLATIN UNICOM THAT RWY 30 WAS THE ACTIVE RWY. OUR TAXI RTE TOOK US ACROSS A SELDOM USED 90 DEG INTERSECTING RWY (RWY 3/21). THE FO HAD HIS HEAD INSIDE THE COCKPIT RECEIVING ATC CLRNC FROM ZLC. I VISUALLY CLRED RWY 3/21 XCOCKPIT AND DID NOT SEE LOW PROFILE DEPARTING TOWPLANE AND GLIDER UNTIL THEY WERE AIRBORNE AND TOO LATE TO STOP OUR ACFT. I CONTINUED ACROSS RWY 3/21. THE GLIDER RELEASED AND LANDED SAFELY. THE TOWPLANE CONTINUED CLBOUT AND SAFELY RECOVERED ON RWY 21. DID NOT HEAR CTAF RPTING RWY 3/21 ACTIVE. DID NOT HEAR TOWPLANE ANNOUNCE INTENTIONS (PERHAPS ATC CLRNC CAME OVER OTHER RADIO AT THAT TIME). SHOULD HAVE FO CLR RWY ALSO. COULD NOT DETECT SMALL, LOW PROFILE ACFT APCHING NEARLY HEAD-ON UNTIL I SAW 'BLUE SKY' BEHIND THEM.
