Narrative:
ATC assigned altitude of FL290. Captain was flying. Just prior to leveloff, first officer left ATC communications to make a PA to the passenger. I became distraction and leveled off. I very quickly noticed we had leveled off at FL300 and quickly descended to FL290.

Title: FLT ON DC9 ASSIGNED FL290 CLBED TO FL300 THEN BACK DOWN TO FL290.
Narrative: ATC ASSIGNED ALT OF FL290. CAPT WAS FLYING. JUST PRIOR TO LEVELOFF, FO LEFT ATC COMS TO MAKE A PA TO THE PAX. I BECAME DISTR AND LEVELED OFF. I VERY QUICKLY NOTICED WE HAD LEVELED OFF AT FL300 AND QUICKLY DSNDED TO FL290.
