Narrative:
On aug/xa/98, flight from bna to ord had 2 failed right main mount tires on landing at ord runway 22R. The aircraft remained on the runway and there were no injuries, however, damage was apparent to the right trailing edge flaps, main mount, and #3 engine (FOD). Prior to landing at ord, we aborted a takeoff at bna for an aft entry door caution light. The captain initiated the abort and commenced braking at 80 KTS. We ran the aborted takeoff checklist and brake cooling chart, which indicated 10 mins cooling time. We sat for approximately 12 mins on taxiway allowing the brakes to cool. All other system appeared normal and the flight went well until landing at ord. Supplemental information from acn 413448: on landing in chicago, the airplane blew the 2 rear tires on the r-hand side. We were stranded on the runway and were later bussed to the terminal.

Title: A LNDG B727 IS STRANDED ON THE RWY AT ORD AFTER EXPERIENCING 2 BLOWN MAIN R WHEEL TIRES. THE ACFT HAD SUFFERED AN ABORTED TKOF AT BNA, SLIGHTLY OVER 1 HR PREVIOUS TO THE LNDG. CREW HAD FOLLOWED THE BRAKE COOLING CHARTS PRIOR TO THE SECOND TKOF.
