Narrative:

I landed on runway 30 and told to make a right on runway 6 and contact ground. Ground told me to make a 180 degree turn and hold short of runway 30. I turned 180 degrees and my left wing was sticking out towards the runway. I straightened the plane out, at which time my nose was sticking into the runway of runway 30. Tower immediately told me to stop and then to go across runway 30, which I did immediately. As I crossed runway 30 I saw a plane going around on runway 30. I believe the problem was caused by my 180 degree turn on runway 6. It was too close to runway 30. There are no hold lines on runway 6, so it is hard to determine when you are clear. Hold lines would have made it clear where I needed to pull off to, then when told to make 180 degree turn I would not be that close to the other runway and the problem would have been avoided. Shaken by the incident, I was asked where I was supposed to hold short of and at this time I was holding short of runway 36, and so I said runway 36. I was then told to taxi to hangar and call the tower.

Title: A C172 LANDS AT PWK, HAS A RWY INCURSION CAUSING ANOTHER ACFT TO EXECUTE A GAR.

Narrative: I LANDED ON RWY 30 AND TOLD TO MAKE A R ON RWY 6 AND CONTACT GND. GND TOLD ME TO MAKE A 180 DEG TURN AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 30. I TURNED 180 DEGS AND MY L WING WAS STICKING OUT TOWARDS THE RWY. I STRAIGHTENED THE PLANE OUT, AT WHICH TIME MY NOSE WAS STICKING INTO THE RWY OF RWY 30. TWR IMMEDIATELY TOLD ME TO STOP AND THEN TO GO ACROSS RWY 30, WHICH I DID IMMEDIATELY. AS I CROSSED RWY 30 I SAW A PLANE GOING AROUND ON RWY 30. I BELIEVE THE PROB WAS CAUSED BY MY 180 DEG TURN ON RWY 6. IT WAS TOO CLOSE TO RWY 30. THERE ARE NO HOLD LINES ON RWY 6, SO IT IS HARD TO DETERMINE WHEN YOU ARE CLR. HOLD LINES WOULD HAVE MADE IT CLR WHERE I NEEDED TO PULL OFF TO, THEN WHEN TOLD TO MAKE 180 DEG TURN I WOULD NOT BE THAT CLOSE TO THE OTHER RWY AND THE PROB WOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. SHAKEN BY THE INCIDENT, I WAS ASKED WHERE I WAS SUPPOSED TO HOLD SHORT OF AND AT THIS TIME I WAS HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 36, AND SO I SAID RWY 36. I WAS THEN TOLD TO TAXI TO HANGAR AND CALL THE TWR.
