Narrative:
On takeoff, the captain reportedly had problems with steering and we aborted. During the taxi back to runway 17L we checked everything ok and he decided to try again. The second takeoff was without incident. We suspect a fuel imbal or being light may have caused the strut on the right main to extend causing the microswitch to disengage nosewheel steering.
