Narrative:
We were cleared to taxi to parking via taxiway Y. But many jets were in line to take off on runway 30L. We were holding behind a jet. Ground instructed us to use taxiway Z and if there was enough room to go around an air carrier jet, which we started to do, but saw that we could go on the service road. Before this incident occurred, we went back to hold behind the air carrier jet. We did not go on the service road but it could have been a chain of events of taxiway accident with other aircraft and/or vehicle. We have tried to follow ground instruction to accommodate the busy traffic. The corrective action was to avoid service road and to hold just behind jet.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO PARKING VIA TXWY Y. BUT MANY JETS WERE IN LINE TO TAKE OFF ON RWY 30L. WE WERE HOLDING BEHIND A JET. GND INSTRUCTED US TO USE TXWY Z AND IF THERE WAS ENOUGH ROOM TO GO AROUND AN ACR JET, WHICH WE STARTED TO DO, BUT SAW THAT WE COULD GO ON THE SVC ROAD. BEFORE THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED, WE WENT BACK TO HOLD BEHIND THE ACR JET. WE DID NOT GO ON THE SVC ROAD BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN A CHAIN OF EVENTS OF TXWY ACCIDENT WITH OTHER ACFT AND/OR VEHICLE. WE HAVE TRIED TO FOLLOW GND INSTRUCTION TO ACCOMMODATE THE BUSY TFC. THE CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS TO AVOID SVC ROAD AND TO HOLD JUST BEHIND JET.
