Narrative:

Aircraft #1 on sep/xa/98 was given sfo 8 - czq as filed by sfo clearance delivery for takeoff on runway 1L. Takeoff was initiated and as initial turn of 030 degrees was begun, copilot noticed an MD80 (aircraft Y) had taken off runway 1R and was in parallel 030 degree turn. Captain stopped turn at 015 degrees and sfo tower called for heading and SID. Tower informed aircraft Y SID was intended to be porte 3 SID and requested an immediate left turn to 180 degrees. Next transmission was to call for 'pilot deviation' and to call sfo tower. On arrival in phx, call was made and the captain was informed of controller error in SID assignment.
