Narrative:
On taxi out at pdx we were given a runway change from runway 28R to runway 10L. RVR reported by ground was takeoff 5000 ft, mid 0 ft, rollout 5000 ft. The captain was getting the runway data (first 1000 ft closed) and checking the weights. We were given takeoff clearance before getting to the runway. I felt a little rushed going through the checklist and was thinking landing minimums, not takeoff minimums. We also ACARS'ed dispatch for a takeoff alternate and received a takeoff alternate from dispatch. I didn't realize until we were airborne that we needed 600 ft touchdown zone, 600 ft mid, and 600 ft rollout to takeoff. I feel this happened because we were rushing to take off and didn't stop to think what we needed to take off. Supplemental information from acn 415610: RVR requirements for takeoff from runway 10L at portland are 600 ft touchdown zone, 600 ft mid, and 600 ft rollout. The mid reading was below 600 ft and was controling. I should not have accepted the takeoff clearance.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: FLC OF A B757 TOOK OFF BELOW IFR WX MINIMUMS DUE NOT OBSERVING THE MINIMUM TKOF REQUIRED FOR THAT RWY. LACK OF RWY REVIEW WAS CAUSED BY LAST MIN RWY CHANGE TO RECOMPUTE THE NEW RWY ACCEPTABILITY LENGTH FOR THEIR ACFT WT.
Narrative: ON TAXI OUT AT PDX WE WERE GIVEN A RWY CHANGE FROM RWY 28R TO RWY 10L. RVR RPTED BY GND WAS TKOF 5000 FT, MID 0 FT, ROLLOUT 5000 FT. THE CAPT WAS GETTING THE RWY DATA (FIRST 1000 FT CLOSED) AND CHKING THE WTS. WE WERE GIVEN TKOF CLRNC BEFORE GETTING TO THE RWY. I FELT A LITTLE RUSHED GOING THROUGH THE CHKLIST AND WAS THINKING LNDG MINIMUMS, NOT TKOF MINIMUMS. WE ALSO ACARS'ED DISPATCH FOR A TKOF ALTERNATE AND RECEIVED A TKOF ALTERNATE FROM DISPATCH. I DIDN'T REALIZE UNTIL WE WERE AIRBORNE THAT WE NEEDED 600 FT TOUCHDOWN ZONE, 600 FT MID, AND 600 FT ROLLOUT TO TKOF. I FEEL THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE WE WERE RUSHING TO TAKE OFF AND DIDN'T STOP TO THINK WHAT WE NEEDED TO TAKE OFF. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 415610: RVR REQUIREMENTS FOR TKOF FROM RWY 10L AT PORTLAND ARE 600 FT TOUCHDOWN ZONE, 600 FT MID, AND 600 FT ROLLOUT. THE MID READING WAS BELOW 600 FT AND WAS CTLING. I SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCEPTED THE TKOF CLRNC.
