Narrative:
ATC facility: man departure. Location: after takeoff runway 24R. We took off from man and cleared the walessy departure SID. The SID requires a turn at 3 DME from the man VOR. I messed up and turned 1 or 2 mi early. My first officer reminded me of the 3 DME turn and I turned back until the proper time to turn, which in this case was pretty quick. Also, the field was getting very gusty direct xwinds of 20 KTS direct with higher gusts as well as increasing wind showing on the IRS, so I am guessing that we probably didn't get off course much if at all. No conflicts occurred and flight proceeded normally from that point on.
