Narrative:

Aborted takeoff twice when electronic engine control failed only after condition levers maximum and power being applied commencing takeoff roll. First abort routine with normal electronic engine control reset and taxi back. Second abort abnormal with #1 engine/propeller not properly responding to power reduction and reverse/beta position, with engine continuing to produce excess thrust, such that feathering #1 propeller best facilitated expediting clear of runway for landing traffic. After clearing runway and selecting electronic engine control manual, abnormal high ground idle power condition ceased. Electronic engine control 'south were deferred per company maintenance control and flight resumed late but routine with electronic engine control selected manual.
