Narrative:
On takeoff both EICAS screens went blank, upper EICAS returned compacted with multiple messages, aborted takeoff at approximately 120 KTS (V1 153). Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: reporter states that the aircraft was heavy, so the V1 speed was high, 153 KTS. The crew first became aware of problem when their EICAS screens (2) went blank at just under 120 KTS. Crew member could not recall what messages then appeared on top screen during abort. The right a/C bus had automatic isolated and after aborting the flight crew discovered they had blown the outboard sets of tires as the anti-skid systems were powered by the right a/C bus. It is not known what system failure or individual failure caused the screens to go blank or what resulting message then appeared. No information was available to the reporter from airline maintenance office. The term of the event of screen transfer of display is called compacting. The cause of the right a/C bus failure or loss of a/C to the EICAS, with no transfer of power from the transfer bus, is not known. The aircraft received internal damage from the vibration which consisted of broken overhead videos, cracked ceiling panels and broken or cracked lavatories. Passenger reaction was controled and the aircraft taxied back to the gate. No injuries reported.

Title: WDB ABORTED TKOF ACCOUNT ELECTRONIC STATUS DISPLAY SCREENS WENT BLANK AND THEN COMPACTED.
Narrative: ON TKOF BOTH EICAS SCREENS WENT BLANK, UPPER EICAS RETURNED COMPACTED WITH MULTIPLE MESSAGES, ABORTED TKOF AT APPROX 120 KTS (V1 153). CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH REPORTER REVEALED THE FOLLOWING: REPORTER STATES THAT THE ACFT WAS HEAVY, SO THE V1 SPEED WAS HIGH, 153 KTS.
