Narrative:
During a dual training flight, I was giving instruction in various air work maneuvers about 10 mi west of eloy airport. I had pointed out eloy airport to my students and advised that we would stay clear due to parachute jumping activities. Then, during the airwork, I did not pay enough attention to our position and allowed the aircraft to fly into the jump zone. I was not monitoring unicom frequency as I had no intention to fly into this area, although I am very familiar with this area. This simply enforces the fact that instructors as pics must not allow themselves to become complacent.
