Narrative:
Purser informed me that we should discontinue our service, that we would be landing in jfk or montreal within 1 hour due to a hydraulic problem. No evacuate/evacuation would be necessary. We landed in bos approximately 1 hour 15 mins later. No evacuate/evacuation needed. The landing was somewhat rough. The landing gear sounded different coming out of its housing, but everything was ok.
