Narrative:
On takeoff we apparently sucked in a bird through the right engine. It must have been a large bird due to the visible indentation left on the engine. The aircraft was vibrating and seemed to really be dragging. We seemed to have insufficient power. Shortly after the occurrence, all 4 flight attendants were in communication via the interphone. There was apparently quite a bit of vibration at the 2R door. The captain soon came on the PA to announce we'd be returning to mia due to an engine problem. From takeoff to landing back in mia, we were in the air 54 mins. To me, that seemed like a long period of time, since the drag we experienced in the rear of the aircraft made it feel as if there was insufficient power to keep us going. I think we all would have liked to have been more informed of the situation, although I do understand that the cockpit crew were probably very busy. No actions were required by the flight attendants. Supplemental information from acn 419507: aircraft was put OTS. Different aircraft was placed on same flight and departed.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT REGARDING A BIRD STRIKE AND INGESTION ON TKOF WHICH CAUSED ENG VIBRATION AND APPARENT LOSS OF PWR. THE ACFT RETURN LAND.
Narrative: ON TKOF WE APPARENTLY SUCKED IN A BIRD THROUGH THE R ENG. IT MUST HAVE BEEN A LARGE BIRD DUE TO THE VISIBLE INDENTATION LEFT ON THE ENG. THE ACFT WAS VIBRATING AND SEEMED TO REALLY BE DRAGGING. WE SEEMED TO HAVE INSUFFICIENT PWR. SHORTLY AFTER THE OCCURRENCE, ALL 4 FLT ATTENDANTS WERE IN COM VIA THE INTERPHONE.
