Narrative:
I was helping my student set up for a maneuver. As I was scanning I noticed that I saw a north american T6 about 100 ft horizontal and 75 ft vertical. By that time, the aircraft was already climbing and high. So my student and myself continued with the maneuver. About 1 min 30 seconds later, he came over the radio and said cessna, pull your head out. I said there are 2 of us up here and the conversation was over. I think if he had had his lights on I would have seen the aircraft a lot sooner.
